How well does this support the Addon Pack & Image Processor Extensions? Are new versions of those extensions going to be released also?

There are updates going to be released of these extensions to improve the support of the new Pure ASP Upload. Also there are new versions coming in the near future of these extensions which will have lot's of improvements and new features.

Will version 3 work for now already together with Image Processor ?
Before the update of Image Processor I mean.
Otherwise I'll have to wait for this new version before upgrading my upload pages, which all work together.

I will have to wait until purchasing the new Pure ASP Upload 3 until I have been garanteed that this will work with the current version of the Smart Image Processor. Can we please have confirmation on this issue soon?! We are all very anxious on using the new upgrade...

Just to be clear.. What you are saying is that if I get Pure ASP Upload 3 now it will not work with the current version of smart Image Processor?

As it seems now there will be a small update in a few days that fixes the current issues with all the add-ons of Pure Upload 2.

Just got Pure ASP Upload 3.
If you try to apply it to a page that has v2.x it will ask you if you want to upgrade the page to v3. After that however Smart Image Processor does not "see" version 3 & tells you it requires v2.x .
I also got an error after that notice.

If your interested in this, I suggest you upgrade now and take advantage of the price break before the 21st. If you need SIP, do not install yet. It does seem that George has provided a quick way to upgrade your v2 apps to v3, so you can do that when the addon pack upgrade becomes availble.

Just the thoughts of someone on the outside looking in.

Hi All,

We wil be releasing an update next week of the Pure ASP Upload 3 to make it fully compatible with current Smart Image Processor version and other Addons. So the Smart Image Processor will still be able to work just fine as it used to be with Pure ASP Upload 2.

We are also working on a new major version 2.0 of Smart Image Processor that will use the full power of Pure ASP Upload 3 as well add many new exciting features and improve performance and quality of the image processing.

Will these Image Processor upgrades be free or will there be a charge?

Smart Image Processor 2 won't be a free upgrade, just like Pure ASP Upload 3 it will contain a lot of new features, like rotate and sharpen. Also the current version of Smart Image Processor will continue and updates will continue to come, but don't expect exiting new features, for that you need to upgrade to version 2.
