Using 3D image on dynamic asp pages.

Two issues:

1. If you alter the xml page to an asp page then go back to your page with 3D image on it any alterations amde there cause the now asp page to revert back to an xml page and lose any db connection strings.

2. Cant seem to get Adv Layer popup to work, have gone back to basics with static images to test. When I click in the image in the 3D gallery I dont get a popup just another page with [object] on it.

Any thoughts on why I having these probles would be good

Yes I had the same problem with the xml file keep changing everytime you made a change in the software. What I did was make a back up of the file and just replace the parts that have been changed in the new xml file.

I have adv layer popup working with 3D flow gallery. The only problem there is that you can not close the layer when the gallery is animating from one image to the other which is a bet strange. Can you post your coding?

That was how I got round the problem, bit difficult though when your dealing with lines of asp code and it all gets converted back in xml...

Hi Charlie,

1. If you made your xml page dynamic - ie with ASP code in it - it can not be edited any more with the extension - as it will probably corrupt your asp code. So if you want to make your page dynamic - do that as a final step.

2. ALP should work - do you have a live sample somewhere?
