Hi,
i did everything as you told, uninstall the previouse version, install the new one, clear the dreamweaver cache, and when i make a new website, i try to put the editor on page and gives me the next error:

<b>The folling Javascript error(s) occurred:
Unable to open script file "C:\Program Files"Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\Configuration\shared\DMXzone\Scripts\dmxFuncLib.js" (error 3)</b>

It is quite frustration, everytime i update for one new version, i have to stop my work because some javascripts error.
Sincerly George, and dont be sad about this next words because you do a good job, but it seems is not enough, i am changing all my boughted extensions on DMXzone for WebbAssist, even their support is really impressive.

Hi Rui,

There is an incompatibility with the installer of Adv HTML Editor AddOn ASP. You need to install the latest Adv HTML Editor 2 as last.
We will release also updates to the addons in a few days that will solve all that.

Sorry for the trouble

Greetings,
George

Hello

I am getting this same error as well after updating to Advanced HTML Editor 2.06. Running on Windows XP, Dreamweaver 8.0.2 using PHP and no add-ons.

Also, I deleted the DW cache file, re-started, re-installed the extension. No luck.

I have re-installed 2.05 while waiting for a solution or advice.

Thanks and regards
Arthur Woods

Hi Colin,

when exactly do you get this error?

Also after new installation did you got the installation wizard in DW asking for your extension serial number?

George

Hi

I have no problem installing the extension. I enter the serial, my user and pass as per usual and it installs. (have tried several clean installs today and deleted all other DMXZONE products)

Close and re open DW and the extension is see to be available within the form menu.

I click on area I wish AdvHtml to appear.

Select the AdvHtml button to insert it and it fires of the error as shown below.

The following Javascript error(s) occurred:
Unable to open script file "C:\Program Files"Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\Configuration\shared\DMXzone\Scripts\dmxFuncLib.js" (error 3)

I have tried this on both Mac and PC and am getting the same error on both platforms.

Ah! Being a seasoned user of AdvHtml editor (since version 1) I automatically went to the 'form menu' to insert it. I didn't realise a new button had been created under the dmxzone menu! It works OK now when inserted from there (although it never seems to insert where I actually want it go), in a a minor problem.

In comparison to your competitor product iRite by WebAssist, AdvHtml 2 does a much better job of cleaning up MS word overall

Thanks!

Yes indeed the old icon is not working and will be removed in the next update.

Just use the DMXzone objects tab and then Adv HTML Editor - new icon

George
