Government Security

GovernmentSecurity.org is not a "Black Hat" or "White Hat" web site. Yes, [we] are a security related web site but, [we] consider this site to hold a "Library" Status. The information here can be used in both positive and in negative manners. [Our] justification for carrying certain "fringe" information is our organization follows the following motto: "Know thy Enemy..."

Why GovernmentSecurity.org?

The site name was chosen for the following reason. This site originally started as a safe resource for government and military employees to learn additional security tactics and information. What [I] mean by safe is a site with out the usual pornographic popup's and warez files found on other security related sites. Hopefully this site will make it past the military and government web content filters. The focus of the site has grown as the site has grown but it still tries to remain true to the original idea.

Is this site funded or run by the military or government?

NO, not in any way. And this site makes no qualms about pointing out the many flaws in today's military and government security policies. Many members of the security community are leery of the government but, we have to remember that our personal information is stored within government computers. Should we not do our part to help those who prevent illegal access to this information?

Free Remote Security Audits

The GovernmentSecurity.org team will provide free security audits to non-profit, local and federal government agencies, and educational institutes. Proof of status must be provided and an NDA is considered standard practice.
