Coldfusion turns 10 years old, let's party!
Ten years, seven releases, and we're still breaking new ground. Now Macromedia would like to mark the occasion.
On July 13, Macromedia is celebrating the 10th birthday of ColdFusion. The founders of ColdFusion, JJ and Jeremy Allaire, will be joining us for a fun retrospective on the history of ColdFusion. [Macromedia's] current ColdFusion team members will also be giving attendees a sneak peek into the future of ColdFusion.
Macromedia will be broadcasting the live celebration worldwide via Macromedia User Groups. To find a party location near you, visit the event listings.
Tell your ColdFusion story
Macromedia is looking for great stories from ColdFusion developers to highlight during the birthday celebration.
- Have you deployed an application using ColdFusion 1, 2, 3, or 4 and still have it running, or have a screenshot? We want to see and find out what the application does.
- Has ColdFusion changed your life? Did you change careers because of ColdFusion, meet your wife on CF-Talk, or name one of your children Jeremy or Ben as a result of your work with ColdFusion? We want to know about it.
- Do you associate a particular version of ColdFusion with a particular point in time? Maybe you rang in the new millenium on the evening of December 31, 1999, and early morning of January 1, 2000 by working on a ColdFusion application? Tell us about it.
