New iPod video available next week!
Apple presented at last the iPod video. The fifth generation of this device has a familiar look. But it has a somewhat bigger screen then its predecessor. The new iPod has a 2.5” screen of 320x240 with 260000 colors.
The iPod video can play off videos in Mpeg 4 format with a maximum size of 480x480 and in H.264 format with a maximum size of 320x240. It is available in the colors black and white and in 30 GB and 60 GB. The new Ipod video will be available next week!

The new iPod boasts up to 20 hours of battery life, five hours more than before. At under half an inch thin, the new 30GB iPod takes up about 45 percent less room than the original iPod. Even the new 60GB model is 10 percent thinner than the fourth-generation 20GB

This isn't anything like the ROCKR. It has iTunes. That's basically it.
This has far more capacity, video capabilities (Widescreen at that), is touch-sensitive, runs OS X, etc...
