“Solution to the installation wizard”
Question:
I've just installed the latest version of a DMXzone extension in Extension Manager, then restarted Dreamweaver, but no Installation Wizard appeared. What is going on how can I install the new version?
Answer:
Normally the following file should be removed automatically but maybe something went wrong. So remove this file manually:
On Windows 200x/XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver <version>\Configuration\commands\_notes\xxxxxxx_install.htm.mno
On Windows Vista / 7:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5\language\Configuration\Commands\_note\xxxxxxx_install.htm.mno
On Mac OSX:
Hard disk: Users: <username>: Library: Application Support: Adobe : Dreamweaver <version>: Configuration: commands: _notes: xxxxxxx_install.htm.mno
where xxxxxx is the extension short name like AdvHTMLEdit20 for Advanced HTML Editor for example.
