UI Access
Access this utility via 'Simple Search > Generate Simple Search...' menu from the Dreamweaver-Ultradev Main menu. Choose 'Generate Simple Search.' Additional Help is available from the user inerface.
Simple Search Support
Simple Search generates three pages in the folder of your choice(search form, search results and detail page) to help you get your database online. Additional files generated are styles.css (see description below) and header.inc which provides the navigation for the ASP pages.
NOTE: The generated files will have a predefined look which you can alter to suit your taste by editing the styles.css file. - Please click on the help button within simple search to get an idea of how to tailor this file to suit your own personal taste. An example has been provided.

I learned assembly language on the Commodore 64 and C on the Amiga. I worked at the school newspaper as a typesetter, and later designed databases for UCSD on the Macintosh.
Since my graduation in 1992, I have focused on the more creative end of computing, multimedia. In 1998 I began applying what I know about multimedia to the Web and have been designing for the Web ever since.
