Using XMLHTTP To Talk To Authorize.Net
Ok, So you've worked for months getting your online store setup.
Everything works great, you've come a long way since you started using
ultradev and (thanks to the people @ DMXZONE, tutorials, extensions, components, ahh life is great.)
Now it's time to add the credit card processing function, and you want it to totally inegrate with your site. (Direct Response Method)
OK let's do some research! You find out to get this done, you have to some how transfer your customers billing info to the processing gateway and get back a response from them to show to the customer and propbally do some saving of info to data base, maybe transaction_id (while keeping your customer on your website). There are a lot of 3rd party solutions to this. But you're a developer and whould like to be able to do this on your own (add to your already leathal arsenal of web developer's skills.)
You find this little gem from Dan Hounshell and decide to share it with the rest of the DMX Zoner's
