Dreamweaver MX with php/MySQL for db beginners

There seem to be plenty of Dreamweaver MX tutorials and they all have one thing in common - a small last chapter on dynamic content.

There also seem to be plenty of tutorials for ASP/Access.

So what about php/MySQL for people like me who have webhosting on Apache and who have not done this sort of stuff before?

How to produce various example type pages using DW-MX, e.g. a page to display a batch of records and a page to amend a record, etc. etc.
