Bruce Lawson joins the DMXzone Team
We at DMXzone would like to introduce you to a new member of the DMXzone Team: Bruce Lawson!
Bruce has been a marketing manager for glasshaus for the past 2 years and will be helping us in setting up professional content on DMXzone. To read more about our latest project click here.
He became interested in computers as a Fortran programmer in 1988, when he became aware of the huge gulf between computer engineers and the end-users.
He's interested in how computers aid communication, and also notes that the gulf between engineers and end-users is still as wide as ever. His interests are in web usability, accessibility, standards and content and sees coding as a delivery mechanism, not as an end in itself.
Having spent 7 years travelling and working in Turkey (guitarist and tarot reader), Thailand (kindergarten teacher), Bangladesh and India (volunteer pharmacist, film extra), Malaysia (model) and Russia (arrested - mistakenly - for espionage), he is now settled with his wife Nongyow and children, Marina (4) and James (2). He lives in Birmingham, UK where he plays guitar (badly), writes poetry (abysmally) and socialises (drunkenly).

Wow! They'll take anybody, won't they!? :)
Seriously, congratulations to Bruce on his joining the Zone. glasshaus wrote kickass books for DW and all sorts of other good web topics, and Bruce had a major hand in that happening. I'll miss the books, but it's good to see my buddy land on his feet.
Bruce, you daft git: get your hair cut, would ya?
