Matthew Machell
A man of many talents, Matt has been a web designer, technical editor, and jewellery picker. He is currently freelancing, and lurks on more web design related discussion lists than is healthy. When he worked for glasshaus publishers, he was the resident Dreamweaver guru, editor and customer support guy.
He likes music with loud guitars and games with obscure rules.
He lives in Birmingham, UK with his girlfriend, Frances, and a bonsai tree.
Matt is developing a portfolio site for a freelance artist/ photographer. He will look at competing sites, and other sites that the target audience use to develop the look and feel. Then he’ll give tips on using a consumer flatbed scanner to best effect (vital to showcase the pictures being scanned!) and show how the pros prep images. He’ll be developing the entire site using Dreamweaver, and the code is free for you to adapt as you want.
