Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 Web Application Recipes
Your one stop resource for learning to develop valuable web applications for personal, intranet, and workgroup deployment. Dreamweaver Web Application Recipes teaches the Dreamweaver user how to develop applications that can make their static pages come to life using either ASP or ColdFusion.
Dreamweaver MX 2004 Web Application Recipes is divided into two, purposely unbalanced, parts. Up front you'll find a primer of sorts that is intended to serve as a general introduction to both the world of data-driven Web technology and Dreamweaver's implementations. Read these chapters if you are new to working with data sources on the Web and especially, if you are new to Dreamweaver. The bulk of the book is devoted to the Web application recipes.
The recipes themselves are separated into two sections. First you'll find instructions for building four intranet-oriented applications, such as user login, employee look-up, and a conference room scheduler. Many of these applications have uses that can be applied to general Web applications. The second set of applications is based on workgroup needs. With these applications you can log billable project hours (Time Cards), create an online opinion gathering system (Survey Builder), and send out a personalized email announcement in bulk (Mail Merge). As with the intranet applications, the workgroups recipes can be extended to fit many situations.

PHP too!
It has code for ASP, Coldfusion, and PHP (they forgot to mention) - maybe JSP too, I forgot! Covers a lot of good DW code hacks and has really good projects for people learning/wanting to do more than just "users login."
If you are going to pick up this book, you really need to get the whole DW Intranet Suite from WebAssist, this book comes with it.
I really wish this book was out in the Ultradev days, hehe!
