Version 2.1.3
New: Full compatibility with the HTML5 Data Bindings, DMXzone Database Connector PHP/ASP and Database Updater PHP/ASP! Now you can use the date

I am using Calendar 2, Version 2.1.4
I was trying to follow this tutorial www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mXSdhcA8RY
When I clicked the Dynamic Data Value Icon to choose the dateQuote from my database table, the only options that I had were Session, DW recordset, forms, and Server Variables. There was no option for the HTML5 Data Bindings.

Hi Danny,
The Calendar 2 works just fine with data bindings values, though its interface is not yet updated. You can just enter your dateQuote binding by hand like - {{dateQuote}} in the alternate date field.

When I entered {{dateQuote}} in the Initial Date, I got the following message:
Initial date entered! Does not comply the selected format yy-mm-dd

Please explain what exactly do you need to achieve?
What needs to be set as initial date exactly? You should use the alternate field option with properly formated {{date}} in order to show a date from your database in the calendar: prntscr.com/5vmvcv

Can you please let me know if Calendar 2 can be used to retrieve dates from a database table. If it can, can you please direct me to a tutorial. It is really becoming frustrating when the specs for this extension states that is compatible with HTML5 Data Bindings when it is not. You suggested to enter {{dateQuote}} in the input box but it does not work.

This extension is not cheap and the only reason I bought it because it was supposed to be compatible with HTML5 Data Bindings.

I want the calendar2 retrieve the quote date that corresponds to the record id that gets selected. Above is the link that I posted for you to see what I am trying to accomplish with Calendar2 and HTML5 Data Bindings

Your respond and help will be greatly be appreciated.
