Hello, I've tried searching and found lots of people with the same problem but no solutions and I don't see how your products work if you can't separate local and remote database connections.I can connect to my local database fine, the address of which is "localhost" but my remote database address is "db444382462.db.1and1.com". How do I set my remote connection details for upload as my host 1&1 do not allow external connections so DMXzone will not allow me to save the remote connection settings in order for me to upload them?

Hello,
With the database connector you do not actually need a remote connection.
All you need to do is to setup your remote and testing servers in your DW site definition to point to your hosting ftp. As soon as this is done, when making the database connection to your hosting, the connection file is being pushed on your remote server and the connection is made from there, i.e. for the database server it's a local connection.

Thank you Teodor. That makes sense, I just won't use a local server.
I've set up my testing server the same as my remote server and set up the connection with my remote database setting which it has accepted. I can see all the columns in my data base queries and I've uploaded all files but I can't actually see any of my data on my remote pages even though the pages had been working on my local server.
I'm not getting any error messages so any ideas what the problem might be?

Thank you Teodor. It was just that DMX was putting the Executer script after a footer include file and it needed moving before.
