Hi David,

We just released a new version of DEM that should solve all your problems. So just update the current when prompted or download the newest separately and do a new install.

Greetings,
George

Hi David,

Does it happen to a particular extension? You can delete the download from the Queue tab and try to download it again.

No, this happens to all extensions and there is nothing showing in the queue tab at anytime. I get the "spiny circle" next to the app in the Purchased Tab for ages and then it fails.

Hi David,

Are you maybe connected to internet via a proxy server?
Could you share a screenshot of the "shiny circle" ?

Thanks,
George

Hi David,

In the current version we have some problems when you are behind a proxy as well with installing some old free extensions and 3rd party extensions. We are working on an update to fix all this but for now you can indeed download the previous stable version 1.1.4:

edit:
** use the latest version 1.2.1 **

George

I'm trying to install the MacOS update, and in addition I want to update some apps, but my Mac won't let me do it because of lack of memory. Moreover, a lot of space is taken up by some system files that I don't have access to. Although it's quite likely that I don't need most of it.

That's why they are hidden from users, who may decide they don't need most of the system files. I think this is not something you should get into without knowledge. Of course, it's pretty easy to read and find ways to deal with these files now https://setapp.com/how-to/user-local-bin-folder-on-mac. But I highly recommend not deleting or changing anything in the hidden files, lest you break your laptop.
