DMXzone Mailer

Worth the Wait
June 1, 2016 by Brad Lawryk
It has been a long frustrating wait for this extension but it is finally here! I had the chance to put this extension to the test and it passed with flying colours. Very simple to use and powerful. Could possibly be the extension of the year. Well done it was worth the wait.
Seanmless Integration

This was a very long awaited extension which now made it to production. I have some experience in setting up linux mailservers - there are a lot of configuration parameters to take into consideration! SInce there are a many flavors of mx- servers there is always a chance that something goes wrong. In my tests I found the DMXzone Mailer so simple to use that I could hardly believe it. A great extra is the possibility to send forms via SSL (Secure Socket Layer). I had some issues in the beginning which turned out to be mistakes on my side, e.g. port numbers ... Pricing is OK, although I miss an extra discount for long-term clients who had purchased Smart-Mailer before and needed an upgrade; alas, Smart Mailer was extremely outdated. The concept of integrating DMXzone Mailer into the "steps" model of "Server Actions" makes it very versatile and easy to combine with a lot of other extensions. I did not try the mass-mailer function yet. If it can be used, we need a delay function in order not to put our mailservers to black-lists. But as mentioned, I did not try it yet. DMXzone Mailer is another great extension which will probably be used on every and each website with a feedback-form - from now on.

100% agree with two previous posts (Greta & Brad). Another great addition for the Server Connect. This Email extension is powerful + so easy to use. Hey guys, any of you who still haven't tried Server Connect and all of it's additional tools, just give it a try. You will be amazed of what you can do.

Great product ... but lack the support for "conditional regions" within the mailer....
October 22, 2017 by Reinhardt Ellis
as Brad and Greta said.. its great.. but it lacks the possibility to have conditional regions within the mailer template. I used the OLD extension with PHP and could specify a PHP page .. eg template.. with conditional regions within the template.. Now I can only specify a mailer template .. it needs to be HTML. But the problem is not all of my clients that gets the mailer needs to see all the fields... So i have tried.. <span dmx-show="attending == 'Yes' ">- Show this SPAN</span> so this is working on the ONLINE page.. but not inside the mailer... any advice...
