There is a free extension that will do that for you... it was created by Macromedia, and I have already used it and can vouch that it works great.
Login User with Dynamic Redirect, V1.0.0

i've tried that one but i get an error when logging in.
Technical Information (for support personnel)
- Error Type:
Response object, ASP 0158 (0x80004005)
A URL is required.
/t2g/test.asp, line 52
- Browser Type:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705) - Page:
POST 47 bytes to /t2g/test.asp - POST Data:
login=cotc2001&password=waiter123&Submit=Submit
in my users table (msaccess) I have a field called login_success and the correct url (http://www.theserver.co.uk/client/welcome.asp) in it and set it in the behaviour to call that field.
Any ideas??

Actually this extension works fine IF you do not Restrict Access based on Username, Password, and Access Level. when you do that, that is when it breaks it. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
