When I point the Sitemap generator to my index.php I get the following error

"An unknown error occurred while accessing <path information>:index.php"

It works fine if the home page is an index.html file. It'd be nice if the extension was smart enough to ignore the php code in a file and just interpret the html code in php files.

I'm currently using Dreamweaver CS3 on Mac OS X 10.4.9.

Hi Geoffrey,

I have tested the extension with test index.php and it work without any problem.
Perhaps, there is some problem with your php file. Could you provide your page in order to test the issue?

I forgot to post the second error that comes up which may shed some extra light with the screenshot below

<img src="webdev2.otago.ac.nz/screenshot.png" border=0>

I've had a look in the location it specified and there is no file called GoogleSitemap.htm

I've also removed all php code from the file and changed it's extension to .html and I still get the same error.

Anyway, here is the index.php file.

Hi Geoffrey,

I have checked the line of which it is raised the error. It is on
var dom = dw.getDocumentDOM(theLocalUrl);

It seems that Google Sitemap Gen cannot get the DocumentDOM of one of your links and this is causing the problem.

I hope this will helps you.

So why doesn't it drop a sensible error and tell me which link it is having problems with?

<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote>

This extension is free. Therefore, it is not implemented strong error handling.

Usually this error is caused from the syntax of some of your link.
The only thing you can do is to try to find which links give the problem.

My site consists of php pages only. When autogenerate it only includes 1 page (the home page selected). Any idear what is the reason for this?

Also it would be great if you could select multiple pages when manually adding pages. That would work for me...

Kind regards for any answers that help me.
