Hi there,I wonder if you could help resolve the issue of XHTML validation errors that occur when using this extension?
Please visit this page where I have added a slideshow:
www.therapytrainingschool.com/123.asp
Please click the link on that page to view the validation errors.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
All the best,
Karl [:I]

Hello Karl,
You can avoid some of the error by replacing all ampersands with their HTML equivalent - &
And the other problem that appears in the validation is the embed object, which, if altered will prevent extension from recognizing this element.
We're familiar with this issue and a solution for it will be included in the future update.

Hi there,
And thanks for your reply and advice.
You may be interested to know that I have resolved the issue completely.
I did this firstly by following your advice by adding the & where applicable in the code.
I also changed the code completely, and also removed the <embed> tag... and voila!
Here it is in action:
www.therapytrainingschool.com/indextest.asp
It has no validation errors and is still able to call all the functionality as required.
Here's the edited code snippet for those that may wish to impliment it for themeselves:
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
data="slideshowpro.swf"
width="468" height="72" id="ttsads">
<param name="FlashVars" value="xmlFile=ttsads.xml&preloaderBackColor=0x0099FF&preloaderBorderColor=0xCCCCCC" />
<param name="movie" value="slideshowpro.swf" />
<param name="allowScriptAcess" value="sameDomain" />
<param name="quality" value="best" />
<param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" />
<param name="scale" value="noScale" />
<param name="salign" value="TL" />
</object>
Best of luck to everyone. This seems to work a charm for me, but always good to hear feedback...

Hello Karl,
I haven't advised you to remove the <embed> only because I'm not sure that it will work in old browsers. However all modern browsers work with your workaround just fine.

Hi Miroslav,
Thanks again for your valuable input. Very much appreciated.
Do you have any idea when a new release would be available for this extension?
