I had a chat session today where the tech just blamed the server. When I asked what the server settings should be the just left the session!!!The component generates 500 errors frequently, sometimes it works if I access the page via IP address, but it never works if I access using the domain in the URL.
I was hoping someone at dmxZone could more adequately explain what settings are necessary for iis on a 2008 box for this to work properly. The app worked fine on a 2003 server but I was forced to move it to 2008 and it does not work properly. Trust settings are full, and there are write permissions on the involved folders.
It seems that in 2008 the standard iis settings for a site will not work with SIP2 ASP.
It would be very helpful if the people at dmxZone would help sort this out instead of blaming the server and leaving the support session.

Hello David,
As you said yesterday - it was working fine on your server before the moving to a new one. This is definitely NOT a bug in the extension.
The error 500 is an Internal Server Error, not an error with the component and it can be ANYTHING / en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTTP_status_codes#5xx_Server_Error /
You should contact your server administrators to check the Error Logs and tell you where the problem is.
By the statement:
I'm thinking you have some redirect on your page that causes some trouble - again - Please contact your server administrators to check the error logs.
And by the way it was you who lost the connection in the chat room.
