Yesterday I bought this tool not realising it apparently can only be used as a basic simple text input box. I guess it can be said it's my fault that I didn't notice a lack of any reference to "combo box". It is primarily the ability to speedily place an object through one of your usual (DW) options windows that I was hoping for.

What I often need is similar to a menu drop down because having auto complete without a drop menu and choice of available items only is quite limiting. Do you have a product similar to JQ combo box which...

1) Can include a drop menu type button (optional) next to the input box for visitors wanting to see the full list of menu options.
2) clear the input box (optional) when focus is lost if anything entered does not match the list.
3) show (retain previous) input when page is re loaded because of errors; and responds correctly to the "reset" button.

I have been able to use JQuery combo box but only after a heck of a lot of fiddly javascripting trying to make the drop button match the input box height etc to suit current css etc, BUT without confidence it will look OK in all browsers. I had expected your devs to have sorted all that with the resources and knowledge they have at hand.

Regards, 'imself.

Hello R W,

Unfortunately the Ajax Autocomplete is our only tool that handles some sort of drop box.

Regards.
