Ever since I upgraded my Advanced HTML Editor 3 to Version 3.5.0 to make sure it works with IE 11, my Ajax Autocomplete 1.2.1 doesn't work.

It's probably something really basic that I'm doing wrong on my end, but wanted to make a post here in case a more advanced user might point me in the right direction. In the meantime, I'm making a backup using a traditional dropdown, but would love to know why the Editor upgrade caused the Autocomplete to stop working.

Thanks for everyone's help.

At the moment, these pages are protected and connect to a database with lots of client confidential data. I don't think my clients would appreciate sharing this at the moment. Give me a day and I'll try to rebuild the page connected to a demo database. I can probably also send the code of the current page itself... just let me know how to get this to you. I'll figure something out to give you a better idea of what's going on.

A little bit more info.... if I build a page with the Autocomplete, it works. Then if I put the updated HTML editor on another page on the same site, that works. But then if I return to the Autocomplete page, that now stops working. The autocomplete simply shows a form text field with an "X" to the right of the empty field.

While I try to give you more information, does the autocomplete share any files with the HTML Editor that becomes overwritten when the new HTML editor is installed?

Sorry to be protective of my current pages, but I'll figure something out that better shows you the problem I'm having.

Hi,

I just tested this locally and there are no any issues. Instead of pasting your links in the forum, please send them to me at

Teordo.... thanks so much for testing this. I went over and over regarding this and it appears after that I use both CS6 and CC. I didn't upgrade the extension correct in CC and when returning to CS6 to do a change, something caused the extension not to work correctly. Now that I have the extension installed correctly in both CS6 and CC and have uploaded the scripts, everything "seems" to be working correctly. As a novice, I certainly appreciate how quickly you responded and test assuring me it was an "operator error". Have a wonderful holiday season.... I'm happy again. Terry
