I know when used in conjunction with ajax calendar the advanced tooltips can be setup to edit forms within the advanced tooltips, but can this be done by using an image or a link as well, on a regular web page? I can't seem to get this to work.

I think the main issue comes in passing the parameter when using the URL for the content. I'm assuming when using URL, as in the calendar, a parameter can be passed?

Yes this can be done.

I'm trying to use an image on a web page, to use the tooltip with. I'm wanting to click on the image and the tooltip comes up. When I setup the tooltip I want to be able to set a parameter for the URL, and have info pulled from a database and displayed in the tooltip.

I've tried setting the URL parameter a few different ways, but it just won't work.

With the tooltips window open, I try to select the page I want, and clicked on Parameters, then set the Name and Value. Doing it this way doesn't give me any errors, but it doesn't pull any data either.

My main question is, how would the parameter be set in the tooltips?

Thank you

Hello Brian,

Imagine you are using a separate page for your form. What way are you using then to edit a record?

This has been resolved. Apparently the recordset parameter needs to have the ' changed to "
