I recently started using the mysqli connections as the old mysql connection method is now deprecated. I have tried to create a dat grid using the mysqli connection and I get a "server connection problem". I then created a data grid using the deprecated method mysql connection and it works fine. I've concluded that the problem is that data grid doesn't like the mysqli connection. Is there an easy way of getting data grid to play nice with mysqli?

AJAX Datagrid only supports the standard Dreamweaver mysql connections.
