I can't get dd/mm/yyyy to work as date format. I set the field to Date and have set up an input mask dd/mm/yyyy but it won't accept the dates entered as correct. eg I have to enter December 15 1970 as 12/15/1970 for the field to validate.

Thanks - you can see the form in place at www.acordworkshop.org.au/register/index-live.asp

There are two date fields.

Okay, that's odd because it doesn't validate here.

Even more interesting - it validates 15/12/1970 in Internet Explorer 9 but fails validation of 15/12/1970 in Chrome.

I've had to remove the validation check to get the form live but would still like to hear your views on how to make it function in Chrome.

Hi Anthony,

We are currently investigating this issue. Is this only happening in Chrome? And what is the version?

Yes, the problem validating dd/mm/yyyy only happens in Chrome, although I've only tested elsewhere in IE.

The version of Chrome is 18.0.1025.162 m

OK I think that this problem is the same as one I have posted here:

Is there an update on this, it is causing me a real issue.

I am using Safari.
