No matter what I enter as a description it does not show in the larger image online, nor is what I typed saved as the description once I closed the Editor.

Work around is go to code view and enter the ALT tag manually for the larger image.

I checked your issue. Everything is working fine.
Can you try to reinstall your extension?
In GUI when you installing the gallery, when you click with right click over a thumbnail, you can choose from the options to edit tittle and the description.

SAME PROBLEM - No Real Solution

I have the same problem and posted it in the General area. No response since i submitted the problem 4 days ago.[]

The problem is shown below:
I inserted a description and tested it from within the Live Editor screen, but the description disappears when I close the Live Editor screen and save the file. You can see the page here and check the first cat - Tabby.

what is the Dreamweaver version that you are using? This is already tested on our machines and this problem does not appear- descriptions work just fine.

I'm have Dreamweaver CS5 and the reason it's working on the website is that I entered the description in the ALT tag manually. I have another project coming up where I will be using the Gallery again, I'll see if the problem persists.

Titles work well, but Descriptions do not.

Hi same problem for me. I installed, re-installed and re-re-installed the extension: no description appearing. Alt is no option, I want the description in the image. Working on a Mac, trying the extension with Dreamweaver CS4 and CS5: still no succes. Do you have an update or a code-addition?

I have the same problem, I have CS6 and the latest extension?

There are still problems with this extension in both CC and CS6. Particularly in CC with description and title. Its annoying to have to put 200 titles in manually when the extension is supposed to do it. Please can we have an update?
