My web application currently generates an XML recordset that I use AJAX to read into my site. I build a schedule list of games (baseball web site) using this data after I convert it to a JSON array. I purchased the Event Calendar to be able to show an alternate view of this data hoping that I could use the same XML data to feed the calendar. After reviewing the documentation, I do not see how to get external data other than using a database.

Hello Scott,

As of now the calendar uses only database and google calendar as source for events. Will check but I doubt that there will be a possibility for setting up to work with XML.

Is there any documentation as to what the data needs to look like when retrieved from the database? Maybe I can emulate what it looks like when returned from the database PHP URL call. I can return the data in any format necessary with a CGI program in place of the PHP URL.

thanks,
Scott

Can the Ajax Event Calendar be enhanced to support JSON or XML data feeds instead of direct from a database or Google? This would make this Calendar useful rather than useless.

Thanks,
