I see you have a demo of a booking or availability type calendar, but I was wondering about the possibility of the calendar showing half days on the checkin date (start date) and checkout date (end date).
On the year view, that would be a diagonal slash with the right half colored for start date, and left half colored for end date, and allow you to add a reservation start date to the end of an existing event, and and allow a reservation to end on the start date of an existing reservation.
it would also show this on the day and week views.

I have done something similar on a YUI based ajax calendar (using php, and gd image library to create background images on the fly), but I like jquery so much more.

I know this would not be an out of the box solution, but I was wondering if you thought it was possible.
