I have several of your extensions and never had a problem installing or using any of them before.

For some reason I cannot get Universal CSS Rotate to work in either FF, IE8 or Chrome. I am following your instructions, and you can look at page source at www.sayles.ca/test.htm

Thanks for your input.

Hello Cy,

You have applied the behavior on an <a> elemen to rotate the div with ID "chloe" which wraps the link. And the behavior is working just fine. The div has width 100% bu default and it is rotated around its center. Thus the link goes out of view and you cannot operate it. If you set a width to div element (lets say 100px) the rotation will be visible.

I installed the extension with no problem, but I can't seem to find the option to use it anywhere. I've opened the tag inspector, but the DMX menu isn't there (or anywhere). I'm really, really new to all of this, so please forgive my ignorance! [:I]

Thanks!!

Hello,

The behavior is found in Tag Inspector -> behaviors -> [+]( add new behavior ) - > DMXzone -> CSS Transforms -> Rotate.

Thanks! I found it, but now I have to figure out how to use it. However, I have to say that it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for!

Hello Nancy,

You can have it assigned to any of the built in events - onClick, onMouseOver and so on on each element and have it to control each other element. Lets say you have a link and a picture and you like to rotate the picture when you click on the link. you set up the picture with an id attribute and then you select the link and in behaviors you select the rotate. In UI you set the picture id and the other parameters and click on ok than you set on which event the behavior to be applied and you're good to go.
That is the way in basic.

Actually, what I'd like to do is have a "banner" going up the side of the web page with text in it. I know it can be done with an image, but I wanted to be able to use text instead. So, is there a way to rotate the block as soon as the page loads?

Hello Nancy,

You just need to select the <body> tag and apply the behavior to onLoad event.

And yes - it works with text blocks.

That's great! I'm trying to "fix" something else right, but when I can, I'll try your suggestion. In the meantime, I just have to say that you're the best! [:I]
