Is there a method or statement for doing a popover menu ? similar to that in one of the samples where the theme changes ?

It would be nice to use this as a way to jump to other documents such as web pages.

The demo you are pointing to is programmed in order for users to see all of the designs. This is not a feature included in the extension.
