Greetings. Is it possible for the shadow feature to honor an image that carries 8-bit alpha information? I've experimented with 24 bit png but the shadows appears at the image bounding area and not based on the alpha channel. Thanks!

This is not possible with the current available version of the Image Enhancer.However I'll add your question as proposal to extension wish list.
