Hi! Page Editor 1.2.2 working ok on a site originally created in a previous version of Page Editor. However, had big problems with new site created in 1.2.2. Both sites have pages controlled by templates and the Page Editor stuff is in the head of the template. What I have isolated the problem to be is that when creating a new page and puttin 1.2.2 on it, the javascript in the head now gets an entry "CurrentPage". When this is in a template head the currentPage is locked and all the child pages are looking for the template on the server and put the editable content from the template into the online editor (when you are online), and you are not editing the actual content of the actual page. What I see is that in the old site that was created in an older version there is no "currentPage" and when the new version was detected and all the scripts were updated and uploaded the actual javascript in the template head remained unchanged ie without CurrentPage. My question is therefore, what are the consequences of me deleting currentPage in the new site tempate header? And if no consequence, why include it in the first place?

Hello Ian,

Not sure how relevant will be my answer after such long time, excuse me for that, here it is:

the CurrentPage is used as base bath for various things in the script.
However if it is not set there is a logic to retrieve it. But in some private cases that may fail so it is set upon adding the Online Page Editor on the page. Removing it is on your own risk.

Regards.
