There are some sites that I want to keep the older version of the online page editor files and retain the previous jQuery version that's been tested with other scripts.

• Is there a way to make the Online Page Editor to stop automatically updating the ScriptLibrary files when you simply open an index.htm file?

• There should be an option of ("yes or no" for the files to be updated.
• Updates to scripts should be left up to the developer to decide when this happens because it very often causes a lot of problems with other scripts that use the jQuery file.

Thanks

Hello Cynthia,

Unfortunately it is not possible currently to stop this. The extensions are monitored on each page open in DW. Their files and includes are checked and if newer are available are substituted. Yes, in some cases this is an error prone behaviour, but overall it provides you with the confidence that you have all the scripts in place so the extension is working as intended.
In your particular case - either use other means to make changes in the site, or wait for all of the extensions, used in that site to be updated and then open it in DW so all extensions be updated together.

Regards.
