I have the Online editor working on a Windows server but can't seem to get it working on a Linux server. It gives me the log in window but when I try and log in using the user id and password I set up I get the log in screen 3 times and then an access denied window.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

I think the problems on your page is you have an older version of jquery on you site. Please remove the following file: www.b-goat.com/ScriptLibrary/jquery-latest.pack.js oth locally and remotely. Then open your page in dreamweaver and just reapply the editor, this will recreate the file to its latest version. Then upload the file to your server.

Ok, I did that but I still don't get anything. Do I need something turned on in my Browser?

Seems like there are other old file versions on your server.
Please remove the whole scriptslibrary folder, go to code view, remove the following lines:

<script type="text/javascript" src="ScriptLibrary/dmxEditor.min.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" src="ScriptLibrary/dmxPageEditor.js">

And reapply the editor, then upload the newly generated files to your server.

Well, I deleted the ScriptLibrary folder and the Styles folder and the test.html page on both local copy and server copy. Recreated the page added the page editor back in and I'm still getting nothing.
Are you getting a log in prompt?
I'm missing something..... There has to be an aha moment here.

I messed around with a few things in IE and still can't get it to pop up. I've tried it on a couple PCs and also one PC remotely so that it is on a completely different network. What would be blocking this to pop up? I did turn off the pop up blocking but still didn't get anything. I'm using IE 10 but also tried it on Safari and got nothing.
Sorry to be a pain.

Aha. It works in Firefox. So, what is IE doing to block it that Firefox isn't?

23 Aug 2013 12:03:57 Billie Cornell replied:
Any idea on why this doesn't work in IE or Safari? I really don't want to have to tell the client he has to use Firefox to edit his website. That just seems silly. There has to be a setting in there someplace. I've search the internet but don't see anything related. This happens on more than one pc so it's not a pc issue.

Thanks for you help.
