How do I make the slider responsive in exactly the same way as has been done in this example:
www.dmxzone.com/demo/dmxzoneNivoSlider/ResponsiveRestaurant/index.html

I've tried creating our own, but the height just doesn't work and the images take up the entire screen:

Would appreciate some guidance. Thank you.

Hello Nathon,
This is exactly how the responsive images should appear - keeping the aspect ratio of the image.
The example you provided is exactly the same... It is just your image aspect ratio that is filling up the whole screen.

I appreciate that Teodor. We've been trying to get support on this for 3 days.

We'd like instruction on how we replicate the example you'd previously sent. For example, are all the images in your Responsive Restaurant example the same size? What is the aspect ratio used in that example?

There's no manual with Nivo Slider so we have to work in the dark with it until someone switches the lights on. I think there is an awful assumption here that people will immediately be familiar with these things when the reality is that some of us are not.

Appreciate the help. Thank you.

Hello,
There absolutely nothing strange in the example.. All of the images are the same size. there is no any aspect ratio that *should* be used. As a web designer/developer It is up to you to decide what image sizes to use for the website you are working on..
Here are examples of the images we are using there:

etc..
Absolutely nothing special.

Nothing special, no, but those two images you've highlighted have the same dimensions.

That's not something that I was aware was required, to be honest, as I'd assumed that Nivo Slider automatically resizes the images (see other post re: Image Resizer!).

You'd previously (via private support) recommended turning that feature off when trying to put together a responsive slider, so that's what we did.

I'll have a go at using images that have the same dimensions and see how that works out. I'm still having problems with the DMXzone Image Resizer though. It simply won't let me edit existing slides!

Of course when you are using images that are not the same dimensions thy will appear different ... to be honest this is something that i even do not consider i should explain to people who are building websites
I recommend not using the resizer when you prepare your photos using tolls like photoshop, where you can resize or crop them.

If I could stop the DMXzone Image Resizer appearing then I would, but I can't (see other post)!
