This is a question/problem.

I have google maps in place that is populated from a user using DMXZ's autocomlpete.

That all works ok and the address is saved to a mysql table along with the long/lat.

When the user logs back in, all their account info is pulled and populates the account page for them to view/update.

That all except the map coords that is.

The address is showing but the google map fails to load the users address into the map and zoom in.

Hello Paul,
How do you populate the marker details?

Hi,

I put more effort into this and managed to achieve the behaviour I needed.

It would be useful to see more detail guides with scenarios on how to utilise this extension.

By the way, I'd like to reduce the font size on the marker info window if information is published, is this possible?

If so how?

Thanks, Paul

The text container has a class of gmap_marker. You can use this to assign or change CSS properties.

Great. Thankyou.

i'm wondering if I can set two different zoom levels.

One if there is no location set.
Second zoomed in to location if user has set?

Probably using some server side coding.

Ok, so ive created a some css for the gmap_marker class.
I have the inner box and text as i want now, but i do not know how to style the outer box withe pointer to the marker.

I want to reduce to same size as my inner box, but preferable remove it.

Any suggestions please?

Styling the outer box requires not simply css but rebuilding the infowindow object that provides that box view through JavaScript coding.
