Here's the form. It's my first reCaptcha attempt. It seems to be working, but no email shows up at the destination.

any ideas?

Also, I had to swap the 2 keys to get the reCaptcha to work, so maybe you should swap the input boxes on the DW interface so they match up? Just an idea.

Any suggestions?

Hi John,

Form variables are never carried to a redirect page. Redirect page is just a followup page, usually a thank you page.

Mail processing should be done in the same page. Best way to do it is together with our Smart Mailer extension. So you add the reCAPTCHA and the Smart Mailer on the same page. The Smart Mailer is now also compatible with reCAPTCHE so it can see if it is validated or not and send mail only when validated.

See this video of how it is done:

and an extra video about redirect page usage:

Your not getting what I'm saying. This is a very simple Formmail script that GoDaddy gives it's users. I had it setup and working fine. The form results would get emailed to an email of my client. Nice and easy.

I clicked at a spot on the form above the Submit button, inserted the reCaptcha, did all the steps, and uploaded everything.

The form APPEARS to work, because I do get the Thank You page as I should, but the email now never shows up at the other end with the form data.

So, now what? I'd rather not buy any more software, Smart mailer, as I believe reCaptcha should work with any form. Right?

Hi John,

I do get what you are saying - but maybe you don't get what I'm saying - so I will say it again:

-the mail processing code needs to be on the same page! So probably your default go daddy script won't work as it is on a separate page that you need to submit to.

Please look at the videos I've listed.

I can't use a normal Formmail script? Great. I would have never bought the thing. I'm sure you'll say it says so, but maybe one of the main bullet points should say you can't use Formmail with your extension. The majority of people I know use or expect Formmail for such a thing. All I wanted was a simple way to add some security to a basic formmail script.

At least I know now.
