We've been having issues launching Accordion using the Insert menu in DW CS6. Once we do succeed in getting it open and insert an accordion, the effect does not render (and instead looks like a list). We assume that something is occurring with the Javascript. An example of this is at www.comfortzonescomm.com/ASH-DPW/water-sewer.html in the Notices & Meetings column.

Thank you for your help.

Hello Scott,
There is a jquery error on your page caused by the superfish.js file. It seems this script is written for an older version of jquery and our extension uses the latest one. This error causes the accordion not load properly.
As for inserting the accordion - this should be done through the Insert Panel and through the Top Menu named Insert...

Thanks for your reply. Is my solution to download the latest Superfish javascript and replace the one currently in the site?

Could this also be causing the insertion issue? (DMX Accordion will only open by using the icon in Dreamweaver's header menu and NOT by using the Insert > DMX zone > DMX zone Accordion. The latter method produces nothing.

As i explained the proper way to insert is through the icon in Dreamweaver's header menu. And no - the issue is not caused by you trying to use the isnert menu.
It is caused by superfish.js file.

I am a designer and do not have a deep javascript background. Will updating the Superfish javascript version to 1.7.4 on the site make the Accordion issue go away? If you have the time and patience to outline what should be done, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello,
As i read in the documentation here plugins.jquery.com/superfish/ 1.7.4 supports the latest jquery. So this should fix your issue.
