I am trying to use AOW 3 with PDF files. What I am seeing is regardless of the combination of full screen or a specified size, the second click opens a new window instead of replacing the first window in either IE8 or IE8 in IE7 compatibility view. Often the second PDF does not load properly (~50% of the time).I am also seeing that, if I use "Always On Top", the window does not load the PDF at all making "Always On Top" pretty useless.

To my knowledge, this was not corrected. I implemented an alternative solution. This was the last response I received by email. I would not say this is, "solved via e-mail"
Hello, Sorry for the delay in my answer.
I noticed your links which you have the AOL applied to have an attribute set target=”_blank”. I guess that is an approach to those who don’t have JS activated, but perhaps this one is playing tricks in IE and it is highly possible that IE itself have a problems with this behavior. This is also and our issue – this extension still needs to be update. However it is not done because of lack of interest to it since the release of the dmxLightbox and update of the Advansed Layer Pop-up before that.
