In the latest version of the DMXzone Database Connector and the new DMXzone Database Updater, the usage of JSONP as default data retrieval protocol is already in place. So you can already specify full remote urls directly to the DMXzone Database Connector or Updater Actions.
In the next update we will make it even easier by letting you just have two site definition in DW; One for the Database Services and one for the PhoneGap app.
Hi Michele, Unfortunately there is no a refresh option integrated into the HTML5 Data Bindings. We will check if it is possible to integrate such an option in the upcoming updates. Currently, you can use a button or other element on your page, that fires the refresh.
Do you have any suggest to maintain local persistence data from remote mysql database (cache)? Now, if I don't have mobile connection (3g or wi-fi) the app not load data from remote database and it's empty.
I think that the ideal solution should be: 1) load data from remote on startup; 2) the app automatically save a copy from remote to local database (store in a json file?); 3) if not available 3g/wifi connection load from local, otherwise from remote database.
Is it possible with your extensions? I look forward to hearing good news from you
