Will people who were early purchasers of the database connector get a deeper discount on the updater?? It only seems reasonable as the updater without updating capability is incomplete to me.

Hello,

The price of DMXzone Database Updater is off with 11% until 6 November. Unfortunately there is no additional discount available.

Hello Jamie,

We actually value our developers time, effort and impressive knowledge that they were able to implement in our tools, therefore we can not offer them for less. We release as much free extensions as possible but we also have to make a living so we have to produce also commercial extensions.
You can always spend valuable time and hand code everything. It is your choice to purchase ANY extension or not.
Ask yourself - as a web developer/designer why do you charge people for creating websites? Why don't you create FREE websites for everyone?...

Jamie,

I was not speaking about the price of the extensions which reflects the complexity of creating, updating and supporting them. I was suggesting using a suite of extensions concept so early adopters would get a suite discounted price while getting parts of what would be a suite when all the parts are finally published.

In essence a form of incentive to increase early volume of sales. I think the pricing is probably pretty reasonable given the size of the market ofr advanced extensions.

Hope this clarifies what I was trying to say.
