Cannot get forms to insert records either. Insert a new record but with all null data. Followed video over and over.

Since updating DMX Extensions to use the Server Connect Panel - nothing works.

The DMX Extensions have become all but useless now. Too bad because they worked so well before. Very frustrating.

The threads on the support forums are all over a year old and of no help. Please update the videos and forum threads!

Seriously, two days working on a simple update password form and still no luck. Now I can't even get simple insert forms to work. This is getting very frustrating.

Hello Brad,
There is obviously some issue with your server config or database setup.
I am not sure which videos or forum topics you are referring to as "outdated", but each of the server connect videos are up to date and show everything step by step.
We have already contacted you, asking for ftp access.

Nothing has changed on my server. It all used to work fine before having to use the Server Connect panel. It inserts fine if the value is hard coded in, just not from form fields.

The manuals links are out of date: www.dmxzone.com/go/22207/dmxzone-database-updater-php-asp-manual/

I did follow the ones at the bottom of the product page as well.

As for server set up I have switched PHP version back and forth between 5.4, 5.5, 5.6 and 7.0. The problem persists in the 5.x versions and nothing at all not even displaying recordset works on 7.0.

You should be looking at the server connect manual and tutorials.
We will check what is wrong and then we will let you know how to fix it.

The same as in your other topic - your form does not have a method selected. Posting data to your server requires a method = POST to be set to your form.

Hello Ferenc,
It is hard to tell you what exactly is wrong unless i see your page, where the insert/update record action is on. Please provide a link to your page, where we can check this.

Hello Teodor,
I have not noticed that the automatic assignment was not correct. It referenced text fields that simply was not existing on the form (interesting). If I do the assignments manually, it works.

Well, yes you have to manually select your POST vars ... just like it is shown in the tutorial.
