To explain it a bit better... I used to insert a new record... and by doing that "posted" the record ID to the next page to do the processing of "whatever" was needed.. mail... details.. and so on...
So each new insert would then generate the ID for that insert.....
eg,,,,, mailprocess.php?UserID=1
How do i do this with the new Updater PHP.. how do i "keep" the ID of the record I just inserted into a database?

guess this is what im looking for... retrieve and use the identity id of an inserted record... but cant find it.. anyone please... i need help
