How can I update multiple records at the same time

I have a list of items which have a field for sort order. The user can manually number the records on the page to sequence them in their own way. I wanted to show all the records from a table, each row with the field showing the current sort order. This works already by the way. I have gotten this far.
I just don't know how to use the updater so the user can update the values in the sort order box on several rows and save the changes to multiple records all at once. Can you show me how this could be done using the new updater extension? I see you have a tutorial on how to delete multiple records but nothing about updating multiple records at once....

Unfortunately multiple update is not supported in the current version of the extension. This feature will be integrated in some of the future updates.

I have a problem with update multiple records. The movie tutorial is based to use Database Source through HTML5 databindings which now is deprecated.
So I tried this through serverconnect.
I create a Multi update action.
connect the formfields with linked page and form and import from form.
Create execute steps:
add database connection
under expression databindings pickup icon. But now it looks different under globals $_post then the tutorial
also create a sever connector executor. But the multiple records update doesn't work.

Did you properly bind the data as fields names as shown in the tutorial?

I figured it out for some reason it didn't bind input name correct. So this works fine now.
Final I attached calendar3 to the multiple records form as we earlier discussed.
But know datefields keep empty and update doesn't work How can I bind this correctly.
I use hidden_datum for date conversion from dd-mm-yy to mm-dd-yy

Still problems to bind data from calendar 3 with multiple records update form. date/time data from database is not visible and update with hidden field does not work. A multiple records update with text update does work. But with date/time in combination with calendar 3 doesn't. I bought calendar 3 and data server formatter. But still after a lot of month I can't get it to work.

Send you an email last week. Still no solution with updating multiple data/time field records with dutch date
example 1-2-2017 (1 february 2017) gives 2-1-2017 (2 january 2017) after update.
I had to buy DMXzone server data formatter which will be the solution but after several month still this problem isn't solved. So this extension is still useless for me but paid for it.
We are almost 7 month further now when i did ask about this for the first time.
Please tell me when tis will be solved.
