I have a massive issue with date conversions. I am in the UK and want my users to insert dates in the form with format dd-mm-yyyy. I am using asp and sql server express 2008R2. Using the date format filter with for instance 04-03-2000 will insert fine into the database but if the user puts 25-03-1999 the database stores 1901-01-03!! I assume this is a JSON issue but would really appreciate assistance. Without it I will have to revert to server side coding which works fine. Interestingly if the month is inserted as text eg. May the issue goes away - however I want my users to be able to put dates in as specified. Many thanks for your prompt attention. FYI The server is set to UK regional settings.
