I have a case where I am building an internally dashboard for a company that will of course have a secure login. However, within this dashboard I will have links to sub-dashboards. The idea is that you must be logged in to the main dashboard to access the other dashboards.

Although the dashboards would be different 'Dreamweaver Sites' they would be on the same server with the same top level domain.

So the idea is that if a staff member bookmarked the sub-dashboard and they weren't logged into the main dashboard it would redirect to the main dashboard login before they can access the main dashboard.

It does need to be separate Dreamweaver sites as they will be completely unrelated dashboards and their could be up to 20 or more sub-dashboards. So file maintenance would be very difficult especially DMX extensions change it could cause conflict with older dashboards.

In theory it should work as long as I set up the authentication identically on all dashboards?

Hi Brad,
I am not sure what you are trying to achieve is possible. The security provider works per DW site, but you can try this with 2 sites and see if it works fine.
