I have a login form working OK using the single user method, but when I try to select "database" as the login method, it just doesn't work.

I have read the forum, manual and watched the videos but login fails to redirect to the "success" page and loads the "fail" page each time.

In the security provider video there is a step to select a "security validater" from an option list, but there is no such option in my list.

I only have 4 options to add "Provider, Login, Logout and Restrict" - no validate option.

I have all the latest extension versions.

What am I doing wrong? This shouldn't be so difficult to implement.

The validate option is no longer needed, and it has been removed. Here you can find the full process of log in/out and filter data by the logged user id:
