This extension now crashes Dreamweaver whenever you import a folder of images.

I don't think this extension was tested well enough before releasing. Not up to DMX standards.

Actually the extension was tested and i can confirm there are no any known issues with the lightgox or DW crashing when using the gallery / importing folder with images.
Please provide us with information about your OS, DW version, the image resize settings that you are using as well as samples of images that you are trying to import and the crash log if any:

Apparently you can't have your source and destination folders the same source. I made a copy of the images folder and moved it out of the DW site and I was able to create a gallery. In my opinion you should be able to use the same folder for source and target.

Or at least have some sort of alert instead of crashing Dreamweaver.

I have had DW (CC 2015) crash several times trying to use Lightbox. Also, it is not possible to edit any of the presets. The edit window comes up but it will not accept clicks. Also how do i make the larger images pop up by hover rather than click - a really simple customisation.

I agree, this is not fit for release. I shall be asking for my money back if it is not fixed.

This happens to me as well. I am using lightbox 2.0.0 on DW CC2015 on Yosemite. You have to get used to this whenever there is a big update from dreamweaver. Most of these extensions stop working until they are upgraded.

Eventually, it will get fixed, these guys are pretty good...although this has been a couple of months now.

Just bought lightbox2 tonight. Dreamweaver CC 2014 keeps crashing, not all the time, but often while importing pictures. All preset galleriescan not be edited!! What is the point if you can not edit these, the default settings looks pretty awful. I am very disappointed.

The trick is to set your style settings before you select your images. Took me awhile to figure that out as well.

Brad, thank you for replying. I did all that and it did not make any differences. I even tried the option under insert menu for editing the presets, nothing works. There is more problem, even when I choose different presets, it always uses the same preset, the iPad look one with grey colour and huge round corners. I hate the look of it!! If I can not edit this or use different presets, this extension is absolutely useless for me.

If you are changing the presets and the look doesn't change, it may be related to your browser's cache.

10 months on and still no fix. I still cannot use this extension. Teodore - have you tried using this on a Mac (Yosemite) with DW CC 2015? You say you cannot reproduce this behaviour - what machine and operating system and version of DW are you using?

I've sent you a fixed version of DMXzone Lightbox 2, which will be released later this month. It improves the preset editor on Mac OS.
Please install it using DMXzone Extension Manager.

Installed fine for me on Mac with El Capitan. I will give it a test later today to see if it is fixed.

So, your Dreamweaver's insertbar.xml file is corrupted.
Please email this file to so i can inspect it and see what is wrong inside it.

I installed the 'insetbar.xml' file you sent me and yes lightroom installs and does not crash anymore. Sadly the configuration is not working: I cannot edit the presets.

Now there are more problems with other extensions: The animated thumbnail gallery gives when I call the extention a message: 'Type error: dmx.browser.openURL is not a function'.

The Nivo Slider does not work either, I get a message that the dmxResizer.batchimageResize has no properties.
Yes I changed the dat file..

Can you please tell me what exactly happens? Are there any error messages when you try to edit the presets?

As for the other issues you mentioned - you are just using old versions of the extensions. There are Animated Thumbnail Gallery 2 and DMXzone Nivo Slider 2, which fix these issues, and no such errors appear.

No there are no messages, the 'Customise your lightbox' menu is visible but not accesable. Never came this far because Dreamweaver crashend constantly. Now I can place a lightbox but not edit the presets.

Yes, I can confirm that I did all that. The editing first page is visible, next button to next editing page does not work and none of the items on the page can be edited. There is no error message, just a dead page that can only be open and closed.
