After installation, Lightbox 2 does not show up in the DMX menu in DW CC2014 x64 but the DMX Extension Manager says it's installed. The webpage says it's compatible with DW x64.
If I try to install via Adobe CC Extension manager, I get this message
<< This extension can not be installed, it requires Dreamweaver version in range inclusively between 12 & 15 >>
Can you advise what may be wrong please?
Running Win7 Pro 64 on Dual Quad core Intel box.
thanks Greg

Hello Greg,
Could you please explain which exactly menu are you referring to by: "the DMX menu" ?
In the manual of the extension it is described where exactly it shows up.

Hi Teodor,
In DW CC 2014, all my DMX plugins appear on the menu INSERT > DMXZONE. They also appear on the INSERT panel when I select "DMX Zone" from the drop list where you also see options "common" "structure" "media" etc.
The Lightbox 2 plugin does not appear on either list.
thanks

Our extensions should be started only by going to the insert panel > DMXzone.
That's where the lightbox also appears:
If you don't see it there, try restarting your DW and make sure you've installed it for the correct DW version (in the DMXzone EM)

Interesting, if only the Insert Panel method should be used, why do the plugins also appear on the Insert > DMX Zone drop menu where they can also be launched?
With respect to this issue, I uninstalled all plugins and removed DW CC 2014 completely, then started over with a fresh install of DW CC 2014 (64bit).
Lightbox 2 was the first plugin I installed and now it appears OK in the Insert Panel list. So this issue appears to be partly solved.
However, after re-installing my other plugins using the DMX Extension Manager, everything shows up in the Insert Panel as expected but Lightbox 2 and Advanced Multi Uploader do not appear on the insert drop menu from the top menubar. Everything else is there on the drop menu.
Slightly off topic, whilst installing my plugins, I have some which report "not intended for use with 64bit DW - do you still want to install?".
Could you please confirm if current versions of plugins should work with 64bit DW CC?
If not, how can I determine compatibility?
thanks

The fact they appear in the insert dropdown menu is a Dreamweaver glitch. As it is explained in ALL of the product manuals - the extensions are supposed to be used/started from within the insert panel.
As for the 64bit compatibility, you can ignore the message that appears and select "install anyway".

Good to know about the DMX Menu glitch and also the erroneous installation warning message.
I'll just ignore them in future.
Thanks for the prompt advice Teodor.
